National Volunteer Week

National Volunteer Week is an opportunity for United Way of Monmouth and Ocean Counties (UWMOC) to recognize the impact of volunteer service and the power of volunteers to tackle society’s greatest challenges, build stronger communities and be a force that transforms the world.

Each year, we shine a light on the people and causes that inspire us to serve, recognizing and thanking volunteers who lend their time, talent and voice to make a difference in our community. Doing good comes in many forms, and we recognize and celebrate them all.

UWMOC is especially grateful for all of the wonderful volunteers on our Board of Directors, Advisory Board and committees who work diligently to ensure that UWMOC is doing all that we can to help the people of our community.

Members of UWMOC's Board of Directors and Advisory Board came together in June 2021.

Thank you to our corporate and individual volunteers for giving their time and resources to come together to collect and distribute donations such as basic needs bags, senior comfort bags and children's winter coats to residents in Monmouth and Ocean counties that need it most.

If you would like to lend your time and talent to volunteer, we invite you to visit our Volunteer Portal for a variety of ways to make a difference in our community this week and every week.
